About Course

Electromagnetic compatibility EMC

Electromagnetic noise can be generated by any system that generates or consumes electrical energy, and this noise can interfere with the operation of the system and/or other systems.

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is a possible danger to today’s technological equipment.

The course teaches students how to use the concepts of electricity and magnetism to create electrical and electronic systems that can coexist amicably, or that are electromagnetically compatible with one another.

Students will study how electromagnetic disturbances are created in systems, how they interact with other systems, and how to secure systems.

Basic circuit analysis and electromagnetic field theory are prerequisites.
