What’s in this Puppet and chef course?

This course introduces a DevOps novice to the basics of Chef by simple hands-on experiments that can be completed right in the browser. The course begins with an overview of Chef’s common use cases before moving on to Chef Resources, Recipes, Cookbooks, RunLists, Roles, and Ohai. Demonstrations on how to set up a Chef environment on the AWS Cloud platform can be found here. Each lecture is followed by a series of coding/lab activities that allow the user to practice writing Chef code. Finally, put your skills to the test for a task that will provide you with real-world problem-solving experience.
