About Course

LTE / LTE-Advanced / LTE-A Pro Module 1.4

LTE Advanced Pro was introduced to deliver the first genuinely worldwide, high data rate, and packet-optimized system, paving the way for 5G NR LTE. Subscribers can access the mobile internet quickly and easily thanks to long-term evolution (LTE). At the end of 2009, the first commercial 4G network went live. The next evolutionary phase, 4G Advanced, introduced substantial enhancements such as carrier aggregation
to improve the distribution of mobile broadband services, long-term evolution-Advanced Pro lays the groundwork for 5G, the next significant advancement in wireless communications, which will include the deployment of NB-IoT for huge machine-to-machine connections, for example (mMTC).

long-term evolution is defined in 3GPP Releases 8 and 9;

long-term evolution-Advanced is defined in 3GPP Releases 10–12;

long-term evolution-Advanced Pro is defined in 3GPP Releases 13–15.

This course provides test methods that are modular and versatile and cover all areas of 4G testing. Signal generators and spectrum analyzers, as well as component and power amplifier measurements, are used to comprehensively test the transmitters and receivers used in base stations and wireless devices. All important MIMO modes including channel simulation are supported by unique MIMO test solutions, including a complete one-box test solution.

Powerful communications testers offer all protocol levels to completely test the air interface of wireless devices, from RF to end-to-end data. The testers may be configured to suit any test application need in all phases of development, verification, and production thanks to a scalable platform. Global certification organizations require scalable RF test solutions to successfully satisfy their verification and conformance test requirements.
