About Course
Aircraft Wiring Diagrams.
This is a hands-on course that is fundamental for all A&P and Avionics Technicians. The course was designed with this concept: repairing wiring can be much harder than installing it in a new aircraft ‒ therefore, the technician needs to be better prepared to perform a job in this area.
Aircraft Wiring Diagrams cover different types of electrical wires and cables, various preparation and fabrication techniques (cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and tying), and installation issues (segregation, tie-wrapping, and chafing). The class also includes:
nomenclature breakdown, deciphering, and labeling
wiring and connector type identification
aviation harness fabrication and installation
requirements
